Welcome to Teachers Global Marketplace! Teachers Global Marketplace ("TGM", "we", "us", or "our") provides classroom displays, interactive teaching tools, lesson and planning support, and an open marketplace where educators and creators can discover, buy, sell, and share original teaching resources. By using our website, apps, or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
To use many aspects of our Services, you must be at least 18 years old. By registering for an account, you represent that you are eligible and your information is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Buyers are responsible for the purchase price and any customer tax shown at checkout. TGM charges and accounts for Australian GST on marketplace sales to customers whose verified billing location is in Australia. Marketplace sales to customers outside Australia do not include Australian GST. Sellers may be subject to membership, commission and transaction fees as described in our Seller Fees & Payout Rates Policy.
When you purchase a resource, you receive a license for personal, educational use. Sellers retain intellectual property rights. You may not share, resell, or redistribute resources except as permitted by the license. Sellers must ensure their resources do not infringe on third-party copyrights or trademarks. See our Copyright & Trademark Policy for more information.
All site content, except for user-uploaded resources, is owned by TGM. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute site content for commercial purposes without permission. Sellers retain rights to their uploaded resources but must comply with our Copyright & Trademark Policy. TGM will respond to valid copyright and trademark infringement notices and may remove content or suspend accounts for violations.
All users are required to follow our Marketplace Participation Standards to help ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for educators and creators. Violations may result in content removal or account suspension at our discretion.
TGM does not accept the mass upload of AI-generated products. Sellers must not upload batches of substantially AI-generated, repetitive, minimally edited, or low-value resources. Products created with the assistance of generative AI must include meaningful educator authorship, review, fact-checking, editing, and added classroom value. Sellers remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, intellectual-property rights, safety, and suitability of every product they submit. TGM may reject, unpublish, or remove products, restrict uploads, suspend or close seller accounts, or request evidence of authorship and review where products appear to have been mass generated or do not meet TGM's quality standards.
All sales are final unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy. Australian sellers are paid through TGM's supported Australian Stripe payout workflow. Sellers whose verified legal country is outside Australia are paid manually through PayPal by L'Deska Pty Ltd, trading as Teachers Global Marketplace. Before the first full PayPal payout, TGM may require the seller to confirm the exact amount and code from a small verification payment sent to the PayPal address on their account. International PayPal payouts are reviewed monthly and require a minimum balance of US$20.00. Smaller balances remain recorded and roll forward until the minimum is reached. TGM may waive the minimum for a final eligible balance when a seller closes their store. A successful buyer payment records seller earnings but is not, by itself, confirmation that an overseas seller payout has been completed. Missing, inconsistent or unverified legal-country, address or payout details may delay a payout without preventing an existing seller from continuing to list or sell products. Sellers remain responsible for income tax and other obligations applying to their own earnings. Customer GST collected and remitted by TGM is kept outside seller earnings.
Sellers must provide and maintain complete and accurate payout details. A PayPal address must belong to the seller or the seller's legal business and be capable of receiving applicable international commercial payments. TGM may rely on payout information confirmed through the seller account and verification process. Changes apply only to future payouts and may require verification again. A payout recorded by the payment provider as completed to the seller's verified address is treated as issued. Where incorrect seller-supplied details cause a misdirected payment, TGM will take reasonable recovery steps but need not issue a replacement unless and until the original funds are recovered, and reasonable provider or recovery costs may be deducted where permitted by law. Sellers must promptly report inaccessible, restricted or compromised payout accounts. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility for an error caused by TGM or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your privacy is important. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use your information. By using TGM, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy and all incorporated policies.
TGM is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. TGM does not guarantee continuous access to resources or services and is not responsible for losses due to service interruptions, account closures, or content removal.
Any disputes will be resolved under the laws of Australia. By using our Services, you waive the right to participate in class actions. TGM may require binding arbitration for certain disputes. Please review this section carefully as it affects your legal rights.
TGM may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, or permanently cease operating the platform, where reasonably necessary for commercial, financial, legal, security or operational reasons. Where reasonably practicable, TGM will provide affected users with at least 30 days' notice by email or through a prominent notice on the website.
If TGM permanently closes, we will take reasonable steps to allow buyers a reasonable period to download previously purchased downloadable resources; allow sellers to retrieve relevant store and transaction information; stop future subscription renewals; process eligible seller earnings and final payouts, subject to refunds, disputes, verification requirements and applicable law; and provide any refund, credit or other remedy required under Australian Consumer Law.
Some Services may need to be suspended or discontinued immediately where continued operation would be unlawful, unsafe, technically impossible or outside TGM's reasonable control. Closure or discontinuation does not remove rights or obligations that accrued before the closure date.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the site or by email. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. Incorporated policies may also be updated periodically.
