The Mistake Nobody Wanted to Admit Interactive Adventure: Honesty SEL Lesson, Film and Games
An interactive, ready-to-teach 45-minute lesson about honesty and owning mistakes for students aged 7 to 11. Students don't just watch the story, they step inside it. It runs entirely from this download: no internet connection, no accounts and no student data.
How it works
Unzip the folder and open one file in your web browser. The animated film pauses for Pause and Predict and Choose the Ending, then students rebuild the Honesty Bridge plank by plank, name feelings with the Feelings Thermometer, catch honest choices in the Honest Choice Catcher, build their own avatar and earn the Honesty Hero badge.
The story
Leo, Maya and Ben have built a paper bridge for their families to see. On a rainy indoor break, Ben throws a ball he knows he shouldn't, and the bridge comes crashing down. Nobody owns up, and Leo is blamed. The secret sits inside Ben like a heavy stone, until Maya offers to go with him to tell the truth. Ben says sorry, and the three friends fix the bridge together, stronger than before.
