The Bicycle Problem
After school, Liam liked riding his bicycle around the neighbourhood. One afternoon, as he rode along the sidewalk, he heard a strange clicking sound coming from the back wheel.
Liam stopped and looked closely at the bike. The chain had slipped off the gears, and the pedals would no longer move properly.
Unsure what to do, Liam examined the chain carefully. Just then, his neighbour Mr. Ortiz walked by and noticed the problem.
Mr. Ortiz showed Liam how to gently lift the chain back onto the gears and spin the pedals slowly.
Within a few minutes, the bicycle was working again. Liam thanked his neighbour and felt proud that he had learned something useful.
