How does the cipher named after Julius Caesar work? What cipher still hasn't been decoded...and might lead to buried treasure? What's the difference between a code and a cipher?

Provided themed writing papers and notecards allow research to be presented in the same type of theme and presentation.
Two activities lead students through encoding and decoding two different types of cipher, and provide extensions for further exploration.
