Copyright & Trademark Policy

Teachers Global Marketplace (TGM) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy outlines our procedures for handling copyright and trademark infringement claims in accordance with applicable laws.

Definitions

Copyright: Protects original works of authorship from unauthorized copying, display, or reproduction.

Trademark: Identifies a brand, logo, or phrase as distinct from others.

Notice & Takedown Process

If you believe your work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright or trademark infringement on TGM, please submit a notice to us. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the intellectual property claimed to be infringed (include registration numbers if applicable).
  • Identification and location of the material on TGM (URL preferred).
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, TGM will remove the content and notify the user. Repeat or egregious violations may result in account closure.

Counter-Notice Process

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice including:

  • Identification of the material removed and its prior location (URL preferred).
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal was a mistake.
  • Your contact information.
  • A statement consenting to jurisdiction and service of process.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

TGM will forward the counter-notice to the original claimant. If no further legal action is taken within 10 days, the content may be restored.
